Tuesday Afternoon
Just a quick blog before I return to the world at large. Today is tuesday - I've currently got two games on on Tuesday, So I finish at 10.

The issue?

After 7 (Heck, even before 7 but it doesn't get as bad), the busses start to stagger themselves. The 7:48, 8:48 and 9:48 busses will get me home, but the 8:18, 9:18 and 10:18 busses go down another rout, meaning I have to wait half an hour for the next bus to come. Except for the 10:18 one. See, the 10:48 bus you would expect to logically folow doesn't actually exist. What you get instead is an 11:18 bus, which goes down the other route, and an 11:48, which is the last bus and does end up going down my way. It can get me home by about 12:20.

Thankfully, I learnt recently that the 10:18 (Which claims to attach to a bus that goes my way in the timetable, but doesn't), does actually loop around and come back along my route, so I can sit on that bis, ride it to the other end of the route and then stay on it as it comes back, and get home by 12. It's irritating, but better then the alternative ^_^;

Okay, end public transport rant.

Heading back home today (Bus rant wouldn't be important if I wasn't), so hope to spend some quality time yelling at my computer. Horai!

Haven't been many quotes lately, hey? I've not been at home ^_^;;

Quick Crow, I'm the real Bananaman.
I had an pretty bad anxiety attack/stabby thing today. That's not odd (I've been worried, so I've been getting them a lot lately), but I was sitting next to Lythias, who was asleep. And I scared him and woke him up, and he dug his nails into my side :P

I also had an exam.

You are now up to date with my life. Yay!

Ah am SO feckin peeved at me right now...
Again. This weekend has taught me a few things. One, I have all the conflict instincts of a wet washcloth. People don't all get along, especially when those people, unlike me, Actually have opiions. Two, I'm a pushover when it comes to the chance to be useful. Three, I stop thinking completely when I'm tired or stressed. Four, I don't really cope with either very well. Five, I AM A COMLETE MORON!!

Which reminds me - I'm sorry Ri-chan!! Stupid me forgot to check the internet to see what I actually had to do this week - turns out that the answer is NOTHING! I could have stayed with you for a while longer (Okay, several hours longer - at least until you were awake) -_- I feel bad.

Got a whole shiteload of work to do this week. Most of it is drawing fecking stick-figures for a fecking assignment. I don't know why I need to draw stickfigures. The images serve no purpose. They don't do anything. THEY ARE COMLETELY OFF THE WALL!! It's the words that are important - the picture is just a guy in a hat next to a computer. OVER AND OVER AGAIN! But I lose marks if they're not hand-drawn, so...

Man that bites.

Well, theres the uni rant and the 'I'm stupid' part of the post out of he way. Moving right along squiddles.

I got most of the materials for my cosplay at this years AVCon. It was rather expensive - it involved fur. Lots of fur. Fur is expensive. Nuff said.

The material I got isn't streatchy either, so I'll have to make sure I tailor it correctly. I'm not that good really, but fir this I'm willing to try. I also want to add a far bit of cloth between my chest and the outside world, since there's very little costume (Asside from the massive ammount of fur) and I expect to freeze my proverbial nuts off.

Also want to enter the kareoke this year, as well as the art contest. I won't enter the fanfiction, because I'm bad at it. The problem with Kareoke is finding something I can sing. I mean, while I know the words to Duvet, I imagine that will be a popular kareoke choice. I was thinking of singing Yasashii yoake from .hack//SIGN, provided I can learn it (That one's actually in japanese :P), since my boy has the OST with the karaoke version already ^_^; I really want to sing though - I couldn't last year because my throat was messed.

As for the art contest - so far I've got two - The chaos picture (Which, although I hate it, is one of the few fanarts I own, and can therefore go into the Video game Fanart section) and, if I get it finished to an acceptable level, an Angel picture I've been working on, currently titled 'Silent Seaphim'. Yes, it's actually got a name. It's a larger piece :P But it's a little boring compositionally, so I may try for a third, more interesting picture.

And now you're up to date. Congratulations. I'm gonna go back to work now - busy busy animatey.

Unable to reach the moon's shadow."

Just dropping by...
I been making an odd revelation. Like... really odd.

Okay - some of you may know me from what back. My condolenses to you. I'm unable to spell as well. In any case...

I was recently pondering some of my characters (They're very dear to me, I can't help it :P) and I got to pondering how much... less than my total oposite my girl Angel has become.

She was originally created on camp in... year 9 was it? I don't know for sure. I would have been 14. She was created 15 (She's managed to remain a year ahead of me, making her 20 now) and was, more or less, made to be what 14 year old me would have liked to been, preferably without the crappy backstory. She started the daddy's girl trend in many of the female characters I actually RP as well.

At the time, I concidered myself Earth element based. Okay, not at that time exactly, but very soon after. It's my Zodiac element, and I was far more stable and silent in my youth then the flighty, airheaded being who types now. Angel, on the other hand, I concidered to be very much an air based person. The traites asociated with the elemets of air were far more present in her character. I still concider myself a little earth based, but lately I've been leaning more and more towards Air. Kinda ammused me.

Some of my characters have associations. Angel's probably got the most, since she has a themesong, "image flower" (I don't like the term, but that's what it is), associated element, symbol, mindscape and totem. Some other characters, like Orion or Bran, have a fair ammount of them. Others have none.

And now, for my own ammusement, I'll list those I can remember. Feel free to do this handy dandy fun test on your own characters :P

Angel:
Themesong - 'Maneater'by Daryl Hall & John Oates (I did want something more grungy originally) or Merideth Brooks 'Bitch' (Joke theme :P)
Image Flower - Lillies, specifically yellow/orange coloured ones. (I mean real lillies, not the tube ones)
Element - Air
Symbol - Crossed Feathers.
Mindscape - A glass island that looks as though it's trying very hard to be a real island. It sort of floats.
Totem - Wolf.

Orion:
Themesong - 'Wherever I Lay My Hat' by Paul Young, although 'Paintbox' by Pink Floyd may become a main theme when I can hear it.
Image Flower - the Red Poppy. Poppy's symbolise rememberence, and were said to have grown in the blood of killed soldiers. They also produce opium. It's very apropriate :P
Element - Uncertain
Symbol - Inverted ankh and/or black snake.
Mindscape - I'm not sure, but I think it would look like one of those impossible maze things.
Totem - Snake.

Necromancer:
Themesong - 'Far Side of Crazy' by Wall of Voodoo.
Image Flower - Technically, he doesn't thave one. But I imagine it being a small, red flower, possibly from a low ground-cover type flower or, better yet, a weed.
Element - Fire.
Symbol - Doens't have one.
Mindscape - A large, underground carpark that's completely deserted. If you've ever been in a large deserted underground carpark, you'll understand.
Totem - Himself.

Bran:
Themesong - 'Wonderboy' by Tenacious D (With the posibility of 'baby blue' being added).
Image Flower - It's not a flower, but thorns. Something like a briar rose, or thorn vines.
Element - unknown.
Symbol - his shield and wing tattoo, or posibly his inverted cross, tend to work as his symbols. Also used are black feathers.
Mindscape - I don't know, but I imagine it being a church and cemetary.
Totem - Raven.

Tracy:
Themesong - 'Gypsy' by Fleetwood Mac
Image Flower - Bright red roses, preferably the large, garden varieties.
Element - She is a life/fire mix.
Symbol - Tracey's symbol is mostly her twin pentagram tattoos.
Mindscape - Again, don't know but I think it may be a type of garden. Beyond that I'm unsure.
Totem - none.

Akai:
Themesong - 'Heartache Tonight' by The Eagles
Image Flower - Not finalised, but I think it is a pale yellow daisy.
Element - unknown, but It's probably water.
Symbol - none.
Mindscape - Hers is an abandoned playground in the wintertime. It's bathed in red light, and there is fog curling all around it.
Totem - none, to my knowledge.

Julian:
Themesong - none. It's dificult to find songs that say 'I know, that's just the way it is' in a susinct fassion.
Image Flower - I don't think he has one - Theres really no plant or flower that I think would fit, except for some tiney grass flowers.
Element - unknown, but I suspect it's Ether (in othe words, the great nothing beyond).
Symbol - the colour grey, Especially in the shape of a triangle.
Mindscape - That's one of those things I don't want to know.
Totem - none.
(See? Some have almost none of these things.)

Jabari:
Themesong - I don't know, it would have to be something savage and tribal, but resigned and tired.
Image Flower - He also doesn't have an image flower. I think of him as more of a tree branch sort of guy - a large pine tree or an ironwood. He's not finalised.
Element - Earth.
Symbol - Technically has no symbol, just a grungie beat-up sort of style.
Mindscape - I've always imagined this to be the rocky grey landscape of his birthplace.
Totem - none.

Aijou:
Themesong - I don't know for sure, since I don't remember hearing about it, but the sentiment expressed in 'Everything Turns Grey' by Agent Orange (Or Lagwagon, who I haven't actually heard of o_O) seems to fit.
Image Flower - Rust-coloured Iris
Element - Earth.
Symbol - none.
Mindscape - I don't know, but I believe it to be a large, dark and barren place.
Totem - Some small type of bird, probably a sparrow.

Rafael:
Themesong - 'Black Eyed Boy' by Texas.
Image Flower - Not sure. Those little red berries remind me of him though (O_o!)
Element - Fire.
Symbol - An eye-shaped thing with a red iris and the whites of the eyes black.
Mindscape - it's the framework of an actual landscape. Everything is black, except for the framework for the objects, which is green. The skins hacen't been added to it. In the very distance of the black, stars can be seen.
Totem - none.

Well, there all the characters that have at least one of those. If I think of some others I'll include them. Once again, feel free to nick those . It's kinda fun! Oh, and here's one more...

Washi (me!):
Themesong - "Popcorn" by Hot Butter and/or "More than a feeling" by Boston.
Image Flower - I don't know it's name off the top of my head, but it's an orange flower that grows in my back yard.
Element - Earth.
Symbol - There are three - the kanji for 'washi' that is my tattoo, the dancing bird-man figure and my glyph, which has fallen out of use as of late but can be seen on a ll of last year's work.
Mindscape - An island. The main starting point is a large tree, just coming into spring with the leaves still new and green. The roots curl above the ground like a fig tree's do.
Totem - Eagle (primary) or Dog (associative).
