Memeing again
First Meme has been going around for a while.
IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, Here's How It Works:
1. Open Your Music Library.
2. Put It On Shuffle.
3. Press Play.
4. For Every Question Write Down The Song And The Band.
5. When You Go To A New Question, Change Songs.
6. Don't Lie, And Try And Be Cool.
Opening Credits: Scissor Sisters - Take youe Mama out.
Well... That certainly sets a tone O_o
Waking Up: The Stranglers - Waltzin' Black
WTF??? What am I, some sort of vampire goblin queen? Althugh... if that's my waking up theme... that's kinda really cool ^^
First Day At School: Nightwish - Dead Gardens
My first day of school, while it has a thumping track, seems to have a decidedly morbid overtone, given this is a song about endings and despair.
Falling In Love: Nick Cave and the Badseeds - Faraway So Close
That is a damn sad song to have for a falling in love song. I guess my path of love ran rough. Like... REALLY rough.
Fight Song: Joan Osborne - St Teresa
Okay, not the WORST fight song ever, but certainly trippy.
Breaking Up: Dolly Parton - Jolene
I LOSE TO ANOTHER WOMAN!
Prom: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Long Time Man
O_o Wow. Uh... My prom was a kind of scary morbid place.
Sex: Mr Mister - Broken Wings
MY SEX IS SO 80'S! And probably kinda heartbreaking, looking at my lovelife displayed in song XP
Life: Cardigans - My Favourite Game
That's kinda awesome. At least it's thumping.
Mental Breakdown: Castelvania - Dance of the Pales
I BREAK DOWN IN A WALTZ! Which, given I wake up to a waltz, is kind of apropriate. How very me to break down to video game music XD I guess I go insane and start dancing.
Drugs: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Up Jumped the Devil
YES! So perfect. Ooo, Dangerous XD
Driving: Nena - 99 Luft balloons
Well, it's got a beat. I could drive to that. If I could drive.
Flashback: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - From Her to Eternity
... Is my life a horror story, by any chance? This flashback would have to be pretty damn terrifying.
Getting Back Together: Bryan Ferry - It's all over now Baby Blue
... My getting back together song is a song of ending and getting on with life? Sounds more like a leaving song. Maybe we're all crazy here XD
Wedding: Cowboy Mouth - Red Blooded All American Man
XD MY WEDDING SONG IS A BDSM SONG! Okay, not quite. But still, my wedding song is very angry. And upbeat. Methinks it's a hell of a wedding.
Honeymoon: Killing Heidi - I Am
... Was I perhaps not present for my honeymoon? Oo, maybe it wasn't even my wedding! Either way, looks like the honey moon continues the wedding on XD
Birth of Child: Lacuna Coil - Swamped
I have a metal baby. I am starting to believe this is indeed a horror flick. But maybe I'm a little better? - "It's just another day; The shame is gone; Hard to believe; That I've let it go"
Wife/Husband death: Voltaire - Goodnight Dragonslayer
I sing a lullaby to my son upon my Husband's death? It seems to fit at least.
Final Battle: Voltaire - Alchemy Monday
... My final battle is jaunty, completely on crack, and sounds like a TV theme. Have I snapped?
Attempted suicide: Nightwish - Lappi - Etiainen
Makes sense. Sad, no lyrics... perfect.
Death Scene: Warren Zevon - Lawers Guns and Money
Seems my actual death is a rather ammusing and overblown scenario XD Possibly involving the mafia.
Funeral: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - And no more shall we part
Okay, this sounds sad, but... it's a song about getting married. Well, since my husband is dead, maybe it's appropriate.
End Credits: Jeff Buckley - Grace
What an excellent way to end what has been a completely disturbing film adaption of my life.

The Elephant Rhyme
It was six men of Indostan
To learning much inclined,
Who went to see the Elephant
(Though all of them were blind),
That each by observation
Might satisfy his mind
The First approached the Elephant,
And happening to fall
Against his broad and sturdy side,
At once began to bawl:
“God bless me! but the Elephant
Is very like a wall!”
The Second, feeling of the tusk,
Cried, “Ho! what have we here
So very round and smooth and sharp?
To me ’tis mighty clear
This wonder of an Elephant
Is very like a spear!”
The Third approached the animal,
And happening to take
The squirming trunk within his hands,
Thus boldly up and spake:
“I see,” quoth he, “the Elephant
Is very like a snake!”
The Fourth reached out an eager hand,
And felt about the knee.
“What most this wondrous beast is like
Is mighty plain,” quoth he;
“ ‘Tis clear enough the Elephant
Is very like a tree!”
The Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear,
Said: “E’en the blindest man
Can tell what this resembles most;
Deny the fact who can
This marvel of an Elephant
Is very like a fan!”
The Sixth no sooner had begun
About the beast to grope,
Than, seizing on the swinging tail
That fell within his scope,
“I see,” quoth he, “the Elephant
Is very like a rope!”
And so these men of Indostan
Disputed loud and long,
Each in his own opinion
Exceeding stiff and strong,
Though each was partly in the right,
And all were in the wrong!
So oft in theologic wars,
The disputants, I ween,
Rail on in utter ignorance
Of what each other mean,
And prate about an Elephant
Not one of them has seen!!

The year in review?
April - Create your own Friend Test here
May - Things are a smide different around here, it seems
June - Today when I woke up, things wern't good. I was nervous enough to feel nausious about it, completely freaking out
July - You know, I STILL haven't gotten my tattoo.
September - It seems that I have reached that certain point in my life - The point where every illness short of a head cold, however harmless, could potentially be pregnancy in the eyes of those around me – particularly women.
October - First, the meme!
November - Take your answer to each question and type it into Google Image Search
Kind of an uneventful year.
I can hear laughter outside.
