Stark. Raving. Mad.
Got a new monitor to replace the busted one.  Yay!  It's so biiiig.  Compared to the old one, anyway ^_^;; but the speakers are crap, so we'll have to get speakers.

Now... Why o WHY do I insist on doing this to myself? I'm terrified of spiders.  Like - seriously terrified.  I see spiders everywhere - when they're there, I will almost definitely see them, and I occasionally see them when they're not there, which makes me extremely paranoid (If you've ever seen me acting paranoid, it's probably ebcause the frekin spiders are after me, I'm convinced).  Hell, there's a moderately large (body about the size of a 20c piece, legs not included - although that may have grown like a fish) spider that I nuked weaks ago that's been stuck in the curtains since that still scares me - even though it's a very dead spider.  It's still there and it scares me, but I'm too scared to move it.

So what do I do?  I decide that Sierra HAS to be asociated with a spider!  So I want to draw her with her spider.  But I'm scared to even LOOK AT PHOTOS of spiders!  Gah!!

I picked a spindly spider like Redbacks and Widows because, while they are venomous (non-venomous spiders are always large, furry and ugly, making them five times more terrifying), they're not agressive, they'er smaller and the widows at least aren't found here (Redbacks are, but they're easy to treat if you know what you were bitten by, and provided it didn't get you in the scrote, which happens) - and they aren't always fatal.  Okay, few spiders are ALWAYS fatal, but while they are deadly without treatment, they aren't always deadly without treatment.  if you get the drift.  So althuogh I'm terrified of them, I can reason my way out of them. Plus they're distinctively 'spider' - they say spider more then most other spiders, except for huntsmen and tarantulas.  Which also terrify me, despite being fairly safe spiders (no spider is truely safe)... Gah!  I've managed to freak myself out just talking about them.

The only spider that doesn't terrify me (Apart from the tiny spiders that live in books, which do scare me a little until I remind myself that it's smaller than any given letter on the page) are Daddy Long Legs.  And lets face it, they don't look much like spiders - which is probably the reason.  They kinda look like seeds with legs to walk around.  There are a few in this shed that I've concidered getting rid of, but... I don't want to go near the webs -_-

So in conclusion I'm terrified of spiders.  And scorpions - I'm scared of scorpions too.  Not so much, since I encounter fewer scorpions, but they're often just as large and terrifiying, and I can't stand looking at pictures of them.  I've already played masochist with them though, through Zarqa (Who just HAD to be associated with scorpion - damn me!!)

Okay, that's over now... My hair is scaring me... and why? BECAUSE OF SPIDERS!!!!  Stupid paranoid brain!
